Polyform is a versatile thermoplastic material specifically engineered for the fabrication of comfortable Inner Sockets. It becomes soft and pliable at a processing temperature of 130°C, allowing for precise molding over the positive model. Once cooled, it maintains a semi-flexible yet durable shape that provides excellent cushioning and hygiene for the residual limb. It is available in large sheets (1850 x 1150 mm) with various thickness options to suit different patient needs.

Material Properties

Easy Molding

Excellent thermoforming characteristics at 130°C allow the material to stretch and conform to complex anatomical shapes without tearing, ensuring a perfect fit.

Patient Comfort

The finished inner socket provides a soft interface between the limb and the hard outer socket, reducing friction and improving overall suspension comfort.
