Technical Highlights
Temperature: ~160°C Process.
Hardness: 40 Shore D (Std).
Heating: 2 min per mm.
Stability: Minimum Shrinkage.
The PF series offers high-performance flexible plates specifically engineered for soft socket applications. This material is designed to provide a comfortable interface between the residual limb and the rigid outer socket. A critical technical benefit is the very small shrinkage during the cooling process, ensuring the socket maintains its precise anatomical fit. While the standard version features a hardness of 40 Shore D, a more flexible 20 Shore D option is available upon demand.
Engineering Benefits
Minimal Shrinkage
The PF material is formulated to minimize contraction during transition from heat to cold, preserving the complex contours of the residual limb without tightening.
Shore D Versatility
With options for 40 or 20 Shore D, the prosthetist can select the ideal level of softness to accommodate sensitive areas and improve overall patient compliance.
