Tube adapters are used as components for modular lower limb prostheses. They connect the prosthetic foot to the proximal components. Adapter combinations allow for controlled angle and length adaptation in the sagittal and frontal plane as well as adjustment of inward and outward rotation
The socket attachment blocks are bonded to the distal end of the prosthetic socket and then laminated together with it. They serve to connect the prosthetic socket to a socket adapter.
The Modular Adapter is suitable for transtibial [below-knee] and transfemoral (above-knee) prostheses. It is used to create a detachable connection between thermoplastic sockets or frames and the Modular System components.
The double adapters are used to connect two pyramid adapters. The pyramid receivers make it possible to make distal and proximal angle adjustments in the frontal and sagittal planes
Hardness of pyramid section kept high to handle screw pressure.
On the other hand, Hardness of the prongs has been reduced by heat treatment, it can therefore be bent back and forth.
