These Polyethylene (PE) Plates are specifically engineered for applications requiring superior high impact resistance and structural integrity. Our Polyethylene Plate (PE) collection offers a rigid yet formable PE Plate solution for medical components, ensuring a reliable prosthetic polyethylene sheet for high-stress environments. With a hardness rating of approximately 60 Shore D, they provide a rigid yet formable solution for prosthetic and orthotic components. The material reaches its optimal processing state at around 170°C, with a recommended heating time of 3 minutes per millimeter of thickness to ensure uniform thermoforming.

Optimized Heating

The 3 min / mm heating rule ensures the polyethylene sheet achieves a perfect plastic state for molding, preventing surface overheating while ensuring core flexibility.

Shore D Hardness

At 60 Shore D, this material balances stiffness and impact absorption, making it an excellent choice for protective shells and high-stress prosthetic parts.
