Functional Highlights
Shock Absorption: Stance-phase flexion provides a natural response at heel strike.
Hydraulic Control: Smooth swing phase adaptation at varying walking speeds.
Safety & Clearance: Polycentric structure reduces stumbling risks.
Optimal Stability: Combines reliable mechanics with everyday comfort.
The KN-200 is an advanced polycentric mechanical prosthetic knee joint designed to provide stable, smooth, and comfortable movement in everyday use. Its highly engineered structure supports controlled stance-phase flexion for improved shock absorption and a more natural gait pattern. The joint also offers robust hydraulic swing phase control, helping users walk seamlessly at different speeds. Thanks to its multi-axis polycentric design, the KN-200 provides increased ground clearance during the swing phase, which significantly helps reduce the risk of stumbling. Overall, it is a practical and reliable solution that combines stability, comfort, and natural biomechanical motion for daily mobility.
Technological Architecture & Adjustments
Flexion & Extension Tuning
The KN-200 allows precise flexion and extension adjustment to help optimize gait performance. Flexion and Extension can be adjusted easily via dedicated valves on both the lateral and medial sides of the product, supporting smoother knee movement and overall control.
Stance Phase Flexion
Designed to provide a smoother and more natural response at heel strike. It supports vital shock absorption during loading and reduces physical stress. Stance damping can be easily calibrated via the adjustment ring located on the posterior of the product.
