Technical Highlights

  • Function: One-way air expulsion.

  • Material: Anodized Aluminum body.

  • Parts: Exchangeable sealing lip.

  • Size: 25 mm outside diameter.

The One-way Prosthetic Expulsion Valve VAC-300 is a high-efficiency valve designed to manage air pressure within the prosthetic socket. It enables the rapid expulsion of excessive air during the stance phase (when weight is applied) and effectively seals against air inflow during the swing phase. The unit consists of a robust anodized aluminum body, an exchangeable sealing lip valve, a counter nut with an O-ring for secure mounting, and a foam filter insert to protect the mechanism from debris.

Engineering Details

Stance & Swing Logic

The valve operates passively with the user’s gait. It pushes air out under pressure (stance) and immediately blocks re-entry when the leg is lifted (swing), creating a consistent fit.

Durable & Serviceable

Constructed from corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum. The internal sealing lip is exchangeable, and the foam filter prevents clogging, ensuring long-term reliability.
