The E 88 is a lightweight mechanical hip joint featuring a sophisticated 4-bar polycentric design. This geometry mimics the natural movement of the pelvis, providing superior comfort and stability during walking. The body is crafted from high-quality anodized aluminum for corrosion resistance and durability. It also features an adjustable extension assist to fine-tune the swing phase.

The polycentric 4-bar linkage reduces the prosthetic length during the swing phase, helping to prevent toe drag (clearance) and ensuring a smoother, more energy-efficient gait pattern.

For optimal alignment and ease of fabrication, an Angled Plate is included in the package as a standard component, allowing the prosthetist to achieve the correct socket attachment angle immediately.
