The Modular Adapter is suitable for transtibial [below-knee] and transfemoral (above-knee) prostheses. It is used to create a detachable connection between thermoplastic sockets or frames and the Modular System components.
This valve enables the expulsion of excessive air out of the socket during stance phase and effectively prevents air from flowing in during swing phase
Consisting of:
Valve body of anodized aluminum
Exchangeable sealing lip valve
Counter nut with o-ring
Foam filter insert
The socket attachment blocks are bonded to the distal end of the prosthetic socket and then laminated together with it. They serve to connect the prosthetic socket to a socket adapter.
The covers for modular transtibial prostheses have a 30 mm drill hole diameters and are not pre-shaped. They can be applied to either the left or right side.
